Mixed Bag Solutions Inc. — Return and Exchange Policy

1. General Disclaimer

At Mixed Bag Solutions Inc., we are committed to delivering high-quality indoor and outdoor furnishings that meet our customers’ expectations. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to assist—subject to the terms set out below.

IMPORTANT: This Return and Exchange Policy does not apply to any third-party materials used in or sold with our custom-built furnishings or millwork. These include but are not limited to hardware, wood, plastic, metal, leather, skin, or any other workable materials sourced from external suppliers. Such materials are non-returnable and non-refundable, and you agree to waive all claims related to their use or performance.

2. Returns – Standard (Non-Custom) Products

Eligible Timeframe:
We accept returns for standard items within fifteen (15) days of delivery to your shipping address. After this period, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Items must be in original packaging, including all tags, inserts, and accessories

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Custom-built or made-to-order products
  • Items that have been used, installed, damaged, or altered
  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers

3. Initiating a Return

To start a return:
1. Contact us at info@mixedbagsolutions.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

4. Exchanges (for Defective or Damaged Items)

If your product arrives defective or damaged:

  • You may request an exchange within 24 hours of delivery
  • Send an email to info@mixedbagsolutions.com with detailed photos
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability; if unavailable, we may offer a refund or substitute ite

MBS will determine, in its sole discretion, whether the item is defective or eligible for replacement.

5. Return & Exchange Shipping Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs, including duties, taxes, and brokerage
  • Foreign currency conversion fees or related bank charges
  • Insuring the item in transit
  • Providing a valid tracking number via email to confirm return delivery

In the case of an exchange, new shipping charges will apply to your replacement item.

6. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • We will notify you by email whether your refund is approved
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment
  • Refunds cannot be issued to alternate accounts or cards

Please allow up to 7 business days after your return has been received before following up. If you do not receive a refund after this period, contact us at info@mixedbagsolutions.com.

7. Cancelling an Order

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase and only if shipping has not yet been processed.
To cancel, email info@mixedbagsolutions.com and include:

  • Your full name and contact info
  • Order number and details of the item(s) to cancel

You agree to pay any associated transaction or conversion fees resulting from cancellation.

8. Product Damage Upon Delivery

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Take clear photos of the damage immediately
  • Email them to info@mixedbagsolutions.com within 24 hours of receipt
  • Failure to report damage within this period may result in a denied claim
